No... like I said he could mace could have caught on something, or used the force to slow his decent... And palpatine was weakened by mace deflecting the lightning on to him... so the lightning wasn't at kill strength.

oh come on, I am not saying he IS alive just that he could be. And to me it maked sence that he is alive... I work at a Movie theater, so I have seen that scene atleast fifteen times, and it still makes sence, but like I said I am not saying he IS alive, just that there is a strong possibility that he is alive.
