It's interesting to read the Lupin III manga and then watch the anime, because the character of Lupin is so completely differfent; in the anime, he's a sort of lovable rogue who steals things; in the manga, he rapes woman, remorselessly murders a person and then frames an innocent man for it, and generally acts completely horribly. I like the anime a lot; I'm not so sure about the manga.
