I hate the fact cat-girl Yuroichi wasn't enough to end this dopey Quincy villain. I hope Grimmjow comes back and gets revenge on this dude with a 2nd transformation like Ulquiorra did. I'm fine with Urahara doing the job and its good timing to finally see what his Bankai is all about.
Eh, Yoruichi's personality was slightly different when she was in her cat form, so her having a different personality in this Neko form isn't completely out of thin air.
Now we just have to wait for Kisuke Urahara's bankai, which will be a counter to Askin's Vollständig and abilities.

It's gotten so much worse, though. There's a difference between one-upping wars and conveniently having powers that perfectly counter the enemy literally up your ass.
An enemy who can develop immunity to one's chakra signature? Invincible! How are they going to win? Oh, Yoruichi has a secret-never-mentioned-against-previous-world-wide-threats power that allows her personality and chakra signature to change 48 times per second. Oh.
Have you considered that perhaps Kubo is a shit writer, has always been a shit writer and that his shittiness is being exasperated now that he's literally making up the story as he goes?

I don't think he's always been. Zombie Powder was good. The pre-soul society arc of Bleach was great.
I think it's just, he's good when he has a lot of time to think and plan, a lot less good when he has to wing it or build forward past a point he didn't plan for in advance.
And fight wise, his pallet is limited, and the further he goes, the more he bases them around 'wouldn't random-ability be cool...?'.
As the moment I think its still fair to say that Bleach can't get any worse than the Deicide chapters even though the random abilities have become a lot more routine the past 3 years.
So basically Kisuke is going to revive Askin to make him develop an immunity to reviving despite having an immunity to death? I'm not even sure what's going on anymore.
I assumed he was just good old fashioned dead at this point. Hollow's tend to hurt Quincies and this one just ripped out Askin's heart in a milisecond.
Urahara's Bankai isn't as bad as Shunsui's, but it's still godawful. These long-desired Bankai are all turning out to be shit. Are there even any others left?
If I don't misremember Ōetsu turned Askin into a PEZ dispenser and Askin just developed an immunity to getting his throat cut. So I don't think tearing his heart out would do much beyond the inconvenience of pain.
It's not a bad move to have Askin killed by his own ability—by making him immune to revival—it's just that it's boring.
