It seems like a great film, but the original A&E series were fantastic too.

I cannot wait to see it!

I really want to see it b/c i love the book and the original mini series form A&E. but i hope they do a good job. How are they going to compress it into a 2 hour movie?

Old thread, and I am maybe certain to be reprimanded after reviving it, but more discussion on this movie would be cool. Loved the book, haven't actually seen the movie yet, but it looks good.

i saw the movie and i think you have to watch it twice to get everything. It is well writen, with all of the old fashion english.
