I still have to read the last chapter..but that's not the point, Inuyasha has more options to deal with Naruto then vice versa. For example what would Naruto do if confronted by Ryokutsei (spelling) or Naraku in his Complete demon form...there's a good chance he won't be able to even harm them let alone defeat them.
He's no stranger to immortal, self healing characters though.
In his Sage mode, he can probably track down the location of his soul, the same way he tracked down Pain's true form from the corpses he was animating. That's not grasping at straws either, he was so chi sensitive, he was able to detect each individual in his village, and tell that Kakashi was dead.
Anyways, how Naruto does against Naraku is beside the point anyways...
Naruto is quite a bit faster than Sesshoumaru in Sage mode, and MUCH faster in Nine Tails mode, and you know how Sess toys with Inuyasha, only losing because of hubris. (And Sess also struggles with Naraku's shields, meaning just because Inuyasha has anti Naraku plot devices doesn't say anything about how he'd perform against other characters..)
He has the firepower, the speed, and most importantly, he has his clones. His MO is usually to send in clones, let them get destroyed, and use that information to form a strategy..
Assuming he doesn't just swamp him with over 100 Sage level clones from the start.
As far as the clones are concerned a single wind scar would wipe them out...however using them to form a strategy is legit. Inuyasha is pretty stupid but he does unlock/acquire new techs mid battle to defeat tough opponents...
And about Sage mode, he can't transform until he absorbs a suffient amount of nature energy first..which is a disadvantage in battle.
That used to be the case, but Naruto can fight in kyuubi mode, and send out Sage Mode clones to support him. (Pretty sure he can create a clone already in the Sage state, but even if he can't, it takes all of a minute for a clone to achieve SM now.)
The last several chapters had Naruto on every battlefield, with each clone about equal to Naruto himself before his kyuubi powerup.. And we're not talking half a dozen Sages either, we're talking literal armies of them. Naruto is now his own S class army, evidently.)
But here, you see two clones in action, and another clone entering Sage mode. That's in addition to the real Naruto fighting in kyuuibi mode, and at least three other clones at different points of the battlefield.
And that's before Kurama freely gave his power. Here's what happens when the flood gates open:
Great Rasengan's are Sage techniques (In the manga, the only time we see one is from Sage Jiraiya and Naruto, both against Pain), so it's pretty safe to say that's an army of Sage clones.
It would be very difficult for Naruto to locate Naraku considering the lengths he goes to to conceal himself from everyone in the series who try to find him
It's not that he has plot device moves more that Naraku is constantly absorbing demons and upgrading his body, while Inuyasha is using his Tetsiaga (spelling) to acquire new powers and abilities
He usually BLW's beam/wave attacks, that fire off in one direction, though.. Naruto's biggest attack is a glorified bomb that blankets the battlefield.
But lets say he could BLW it anyways.. Most of Naruto's attacks are close range, and he saves the beast bomb as his ace. He usually uses a melee oriented style, based around using the rasengan, at point blank range, or sometimes the upgraded wind rasengan (Which he can throw like a projectile, but can also use his Chakra to guide it, and has used it from point blank range before..) And he'll almost always be using clones, so technically Inuyasha will be fighting Naruto'S.
About Naruto using rasenga at close range...that puts in within range of an Iron Reaver Soul Stealer, which he has no means to block and he can't naturally sustain that type of damage for long.
I loved Inuyasha, but let's be truthful. If any of Inuyasha's attacks could even work on him, they'd either A) not do enough damage, or B)be too slow.
Inuyasha has one attack that could win this for him, the Soul Banishment Orb thing. As it negates power levels and sends you directly to hell no matter what. But even that's probably too slow for Naruto at this point.
U make it seem as if Naruto has superhuman durability, which he doesn't...lets not forget Inuyasha's claws rend stone like tissue paper, Naruto will bleed out after one hit.
Also Inuyasha has superhuman speed and reflexes from his half_demon heritage...the series however is less focused on speed blitzes than power, that's all.
Inuyasha has fought several enemies who were faster than him, and Naruto isn't faster in his base form. And it's risky for him to attempt his other forms against Inuyasha.
Naruto easily does. Kiba's 'fang passing fang' rips through stone and can make craters bigger than Kiba himself on a direct strike, and Naruto took multiple hits from it as a Genin.
Yea, that's a thing. Inuyasha has superhuman speed, but it doesn't continue to level up much as the series goes on. However, Naruto speed continues to increase as the series progresses, and late-series is way beyond anyone in IY.
The fourth is faster than the third; the third's tougher and has more offense and is still very fast, but his son focused more on raw speed it seems.
This is a nice feat for Sage mode, especially in reaction speed (which Naruto points out- it's abilities let him get the timing dead-on), while Naruto's rapid movement against the 4th's full speed blitz is a higher speed speed move.
You're failing to realize that the series is based less around speed, for instance inuyasha has fast reflexes and AOE attacks oppose to increasing speed.
