My favourite is when they talk about consoles and the guy against Japan uses 1 example of why Japan isnt the best anymore, and thats the 360 and its controller....and then uses virtual boy and Sega Saturn as bad examples, but totally forgets about the Phantom, 3DO, and other shitty consoles.
The second paragraph of the second link was oh so true the whole "rpg" template. And know that sony is loosing ff...i feel bad for getting a ps3...its like wtf was the point...there is absolutely no point in owning one...no dmc...no ff..its like i was better off with the 360 and the wii because if the reason i bought the god damn thing no longer exist than...wtf is the point of the system?
So...um...anyone wanna buy a ps3?

I just think that the West are just as guilty as what that guy was saying. Orginality? Yeah, right... every game is either FPS or an western RPG...just as bad as the Japenese.
Meh, I much prefer Japanese games, really. Maybe it's partially because that's what I grew up playing, but I just like them better. Most western RPs have never caught my interest, and I can't stand FPSs.

the three most impostant elements in gaming..
though i have to admit, it doenst matter if one element is missing, eg. mario game stories are pretty cliche'd, but they are soo fun that nobody cares
or Super smash bros..way too fun to notice the fact that it has no story..
Ok this might be because I don't speak English as a native language, but isn't "plot" and "story" when talking about games/movies etc more or less the same?
right on the money thats pretty much the equation for a game thats worth while
oh yea and before i forget..the ring of death has appered around my 360 once or twice...what should i do?
