Pokemon was always fun



the manga was deeply disturbing though, they really toned it down for the anime. I mean, in the manga, Ash gets brutally half-killed by a spearow, like he's bleeding and everything, it was weird.

Oh and Prof. Oak is a cannibal no expression

I never read the manga no expression



oh man, does anyone ever remember the episode when Ash has to give up Charizard? and it has all the flashback sequence from when he was a Charmander and had to protect his tail flame ?sad

was such a sad scene when he flew away no expression

I remember that actually (I watched it every single day), that was pretty sad I probably cried, but I can't remember, that was so long ago. must have been 7-9 or something



Yeah Prof Oak is out in the mountains studying clefairies (s?), and Ash gets there, and is all "Didn't you have an assistant with you?" and Prof Oak is all "Yeah... he left *burp*", and then it just has a panel showing a close up of this stew/broth that Oak has made, implying Oak killed his assistant and put him in a stew and then ate him
