Kaiser Chiefs are set to release a DVD of their Leeds Elland Road gig from May 24 this year. The DVD of their hometown gig, 'Live At Elland Road', will be released on November 24 and will also feature footage of the band's BBC Electric Proms show which took place at the London Roundhouse on October 27 last year. The Elland Road show was the band's biggest headline show so far, with 40,000 fans attending.
The Enemy are make a rare step outside the studio to help launch the 2009 Shockwaves NME Awards. The Coventry trio have been working on their second album, but will pause from recording sessions to play a one-off set at the awards launch on November 26. The party will take place in Brixton, south London at the Prince pub, and will mark the start of voting ahead of next year's ceremony, which will be held on February 25 at Brixton Academy.
Six songs from Britney Spears' forthcoming album 'Circus' have been posted online, several weeks before the album is due to hit shelves. The tracks, which include the album's lead single 'Womanizer', were uploaded to 103.5's website, appearing in the form of a six-song mix featuring partial versions of each track. 'Circus' is Spears' sixth album and is set to be released on December 2, which also happens to be her 27th birthday.
