I only really like 3 albums or so, their first 3 or something. They had some alright (if majorly overplayed) rock tracks on.

Personally because I think they simply rock. You can always count on them to rock, kind of like The Ramones. When you hear their songs, you know it's an AC/DC song, you know it's a Ramones song, you know you are not going to have to sit through some lame slow ballad, it's just rock pure and simple, and there's always a time and a place where most of us need that.

All of their songs are the same. They're work contains less variation than that of Nickelback. Most metal bands aren't doing anything new, but they're like one of those apples that are rotten on the inside but look like they're freshly picked from the outisde. Not unlike Trivium etc.

nickelback were a grungyish band before. and now its like pop/rock alternative band. thats variation ain't it. i like BFMV, if you don't then that means you're going to hell. trivium are wicked.
