You have, and one day you will use that brightness to do something great

Oh man, to be honest I can see that happening. I've already put on a bit of weight since I got off the meds (one of their side effects was weight loss) and quitting smoking is defo gonna make me want to eat more (I quit for a year and a half at one point and I ate tonnes then).

Either way though, it just feels good not being shackled to an addiction really!

Really? How long've you been on it?

I got prescribed it at the start of this year, I was meant to take it for six months about a week ago I realised I hadn't been keeping it up for the week before that so I just decided to leave it

Has it helped you at all? I've heard conflicting reports on it

The worst part about quitting is all mentally. Even now, I still have dreams where I pick up a pack again and I feel all is right in the world for that moment. Luckily those thoughts don't last long.

My next big goal is to either cut way back on or quit drinking soda. It's my main vice right now.

Totally agree, man. Self rolling them is a tough part to break for me because I'm so used to it. Waiting for a bus, make a rollie. Walking somewhere, make a rollie. Just had dinner, make a rollie. Etc.

My advice to anybody who has never smoked is just to stay well away, because sure, you can quit, but somewhere inside you there'll always be a smoker, craving away. My mum quit twenty years ago and still gets cravings every now and then.

Are you going with e-cig, patch, gum or anything? I went cold turkey.

First time I tried everything, mainly inhaltors (shitty things that predated e-cigs) and gum, but it never worked. Then I went cold turkey and it worked, so I'm basically doing the same this time. I usually have a few small joints with my dad in the evening, so they kind of keep me going, but once I get back to uni it'll be full on cold turkey, and I think I'll be ready for it by then

Rewatching 3rd Rock From the Sun makes me realize how awful today's comedy sitcoms are.

Remember the episode that was in 3D?

Didn't they also have an episode with Smell-O-Vision?
