She knows damn well that the only reason we NEVER have a date night is because she flat out refuses to watch our kids.
She claims "I always have to do everything for people and I never get to do what I want." What does she do in her free time? Goes to bed at 5pm and wakes up at noon the next day. She's a lazy piece of shit.
She's medically trained, used to be an EMT, and is one of the only people qualified to watch our disabled daughter. We only ask her to sit with them for a couple hours every month or so while we go grocery shopping. Not even for a date, just so we can go get some fucking food to sustain us.
We pay her to watch them, even though we are far from being well off. She gets to sit on her ass the entire time she's watching them because my son knows how to entertain himself and our daughter lays in her chair all day. We spoon feed our daughter before we leave and we change her diaper so there's literally nothing for the MIL to do while we're gone except be there to call an ambulance if needed.
She gets to watch Netflix on our big ass TV, she can play video games on PS4 if she damn well pleases, she has free reign of our stocked fridge with food that's not expired (unlike her house), our A/C works great so she can stay cool in the desert heat, and our place is clean (unlike her house). I don't see why she pulls this shit. She is a straight up bitch.
This devil woman is the reason I didn't get to go to the fair with a ticket that was already paid for. Why we had to cut our honeymoon short. Why I didn't get to stay with my wife at the hospital when my first born child was born! She literally told me to get my ass home because she wasn't going to watch our daughter only 2 hours after my child was born.

Not to mention we have hundreds of DVDs and Blurays that we've slowly built up over the last 5 years and hundreds of movies I have stored on my PC which is hooked up to the big screen. She just makes excuses not to get off her fat ass.
Oh yeah, she's also the reason my wife doesn't get to go to Star Wars Celebration with me and my son. We bought her $135 non-refundable ticket 2 years ago and this witch knew the entire time she was lined up to watch Sophie. She pulled out from watching just a couple months ago and no one stepped up.
My nephew is taking my wife's ticket and I'm happy he gets to go but I really wanted my wife to be there.
Once I get back from California I'm telling her that we're done with the bullshit and to stay out of our lives. My wife is fully on board with this. She hates her own mother for her abusive childhood and the shit she's pulled since then.
