Unfortunately this is the second friend of my wife's to die in a car accident in 2 years. The first one was a roll over on the interstate, she and her youngest were ejected from the vehicle and died on impact, another child and the father both broke their backs.

They grew up together, all through school. Then they worked together. She helped Jessica through the first 2 years of our daughter's life, when she was at her absolute worst medically.
