i did have a sip of his carling which was horrible. later on i had some red wine which was also horrible. and i thought because it has been years since i had any alcohol, "oh maybe my tastes have changed, maybe alcohol will be my thing now" but no its still terrible. i did have this cocktail thing which was alright. my fave was this fruity cider drink.

oh man yeears ago. remember when i used to post about stories of going to the beach with lloyd and laura and ben and that lot? i think that was about the last time i had alcohol that wasn't a wedding thing. we had strongbows and fosters and i remember liking strongbow only but it was also really windy so all the food and drinks were like sprinkled with sand it sucked.

Yeah, cheap lager like Carling is an acquired taste, a taste only acquired from many nights of drinking whatever piss water is at hand. And red wine is definitely an acquired taste, took me ages to realise I liked it, I had to drink rosé for a while first. But these tastes are only acquired from a desire to be inebriated anyway, so it's probs just not for you really.
