My boy is getting so big.

Took him to a birthday party today and he was so talkative with the other kids. He wasn't afraid of going down the water slide by himself or swim in the pool. He even climbed up to a tree house by himself.

Worked with her and her husband. They hadn't gotten along for quite a while, before I even met them. We all worked at a lake resort, so we had employee housing on the cheap. Nights always involved people hanging out after work, drinking alcohol and smoking weed. Some days it was smaller groups, and there was me, her, and a couple already dating.

It started with lots of flirting for the hell of it, but then we kissed and a few days later did the deed. We snuck around for a few months until she went crazy and purposely drove her car down a really steep hill. I think she went off with someone else and got into heavy drugs.

I'm 95% sure I saw her a couple months ago (10 years since I last saw her) at a store. She looks haggard as hell, but she is in her 40's now and did some bad drugs.

Just glad I never ran off with her to New York like we had once planned. Also glad she never got pregnant.
