Last time I saw him I was mad because he kept on walking away as soon as I came to him. We both were the last to leave and he said bye to me and I ignored him because he ignored my attempt to talk to him..so he said, I'm leaving you don't want to say bye?....okay!

There are no official mods for the OTF and GDF. You can see whether a section is moderated at the top of the forum, just over the who's browsing section. There are a couple of global mods that can moderate all of KMC and Badabing is one of them. So they share the duty of modding these forums.
I suppose in essence mods are supposed to delete spam, and make sure that members don't break rules (like socking) or are abusive (however different sections of the forum have different measures of what is and is not allowed)
Mods also have a hidden forum where they talk amongst themselves, and apparently talk through some decisions sometimes.
I don't remember whether it was Digi or Pr, but one of them said before that mods get a lot of pretty abusive and horrible PMs. So I guess they have to deal with that.
I used to be a mod for the Star Wars Episode III forum, before it was merged with the other prequels. I never got any abusive PMs. A couple upset ones, but easily sorted and most people were rational after speaking with them.
Back then, to become a mod you couldn't ask. Raz would approach you if he had an opening and thought you'd do a good job. I would lay out hints all over the place without straight up asking if I could do it.
