i wrote a large passionate message to san around the time it happened but its not really new is it
rich businessmen taking over british football clubs? what about sam hamman? previous owner, took apart old wimbledon and came here and everyone liked him because he was eccentric or something. and it was all good because he came in i think we were in 3rd division this was like in 2000 before i was even a cardiff fan, i was probably glory supporting man united at the time, i had a few old shirt of theirs, i also had a liverpool shirt and a newcastle united shirt back in the day. anyways it was all good because we got promoted twice within short time but when he left we were in loads of debt so thats why we needed another rich business guy i mean sure no one took a liking to him the second there was any mention of changing the club colours and the badge i mean ffs these rich ****s don't know shit about tradition don't know shit about football man it really gets my goat i tells ya. but sam hamman changed the club badge as well, but it the bluebird was kept central and the only real change was the design of the crest and that the st davids flag was put behind the bird so everyone was on board with it really but putting the welsh dragon as our badge and the bluebird just a little thing below it its just dull we aren't wales like we cardiff and wrexham are called the dragons so.
i still don't like him he got the blue back thankfully but still, hiring russel slade our current manager, idgi! a league 1 manager, getting us a bunch of league 1 players, we were in the prem just a couple seasons ago ffs, and to top that he's ugly af too. the manager i mean.
but yeah in conclusion, its not good and we have to just accept it for now because we need the money. hopefully in the future finance can be sorted and we don't have anymore rich shits come in spend everything we have make a quick buck then **** off again. need to build for the future etc. but like lots of things, sometimes things need to suck before they get better again or something.
