Cause I tried and honk kong only came up with the recent bombing and suicide came up with another story about some English girl that was living over there.
in november a guy on a book review site messaged me after he read something i wrote about suffering from a mental illness.
he offered advice, seemed friendly but odd ? very arrogant.
talked a lot about random things. he told me about his job, he works in the pharmaceuticals industry, a CTO, earns a lot.
offered to buy me a therapy light for christmas, i said OK! then he kept offering to buy me things, going back and forth on it.
oh yeah and he told me that he's 37, single after cheating on his wife years ago. asked to meet up, I said no, told him it'll be awkward and I dont know him well enough etc.
anyways, to sum up the whole debacle, he sent me money, started trying to convince me that marius is "abusing" me and I should date him because he can "look after" me better, said i'll never get well unless I can get to the best doctors who are in the US etc.
I found out that he's still married and 45.
Then his wife found my number on his phone, tried to call me.
My friend told her the whole story, she thought he was disgusting and creepy and predatory.
she went to a therapist with the conversations, then a priest
then after a month she suddenly did a total 180 and decided he was just fantasising.
now even more time has passed and she's decided I'm to blame for everything?? idk.
idk I was hoping he'd get over the obsession and we'd be friends and he's stop being weird about Marius and everyone would just like each other and everything would be fine
didn't seem that weird at the time ? it got a lot more ****ed up than that. He even started offering money for me to meet up with him? He was worried I might not show up if we were to meet. Weird af.
idk it was all kind of funny at the start, I didn't take him seriously. then it went horribly wrong lol
He's actually British too. His wife was angry when she read that part, she said he always talks shit about US healthcare to her, and says British healthcare is superior.
but yeah after she did the 180 she decided that he wasnt really talking about her, he made up a "fantasy wife"
he said lots of awful things about how she's too old now.. idk. we argued about it.
