Oh no, here comes Birdcock42. I guess Medieval 2 has less depth and options as far as economics and politics go, but you can fight actual battles, which you can't in Crusader Kings. Plus, I have several mods installed to improve historical accuracy and diplomatic/economical options.

TL;DR, modded Total War > Crusader Kings
