you know whats funny i bought like a looot of contact lenses because obviously i knew i'd be doing lots of physical shit and might damage my glasses doing whatever but i never wore my contacts once, mostly due to lack of time, and after first week not bothering to do it i just decided not to bother at all at that point
did damage my glasses a bit during bayonet training while we were crawling and someone accidentally kicked their foot into my face shit happens don't it could still see tho so. i did take my glasses off when we would do endurance pt, usually half way through because my nose would be sweaty thats how sweat i'd get, i never knew my nose could sweat but yeah so then i'd just pop them in my pocket. weren't supposed to have anything in pockets but they only check at start of lessons really i got called out twice for having my padlock keys in my pocket i wasn't the only one but i was the one that got caught after that everytime pretty much that we had pt everyone would be like you haven't got your keys on you now right

after the first couple times we had folders to put them in and put them in the office so it was alright but i'd say yeah just to wind them up, they'd be all like WELL GET RID OF 'EM 'EN and i'd be like lol nah
