I have some questions if you wouldn't mind.

Did you know it was your future during the dream, or upon waking?

Would you suppose you saw the future or created it.

Do these phenomena prove there is consciousness not bound by the physical brain/body?

I believe that your consciousness can transcend your body at times when dreaming....I have a different view of dreams then most people have because of all the reading I've done on the subject....

NO, I didn't know it was about the future the first 2 times it happened, but the 3rd time, I did.....

My dreams were like this:

I'd have a repeating scenario...I'd have it 3 times....IF I said nothing about the dreams...then after the 3rd one, it would come true....NOW then when it happened the 3rd time ( started dreaming the same scenario)...if I took notice of it and wondered if this was going to happen again, so I told someone about the dreams after I had had 2 of them...at that point, I didn't have the 3rd, and the scenario didn't come true......

This has happened quite a few times, and if I didn't like the scenario, I'd make sure and tell someone about it....BUT...it also made me more aware and ....well, that's how it happened for me....I also have Lucid dreams...(lucid dreams are the ones where you can control what happens or you can manipulate the dream), but usually don't do that all to often...I usually go with the flow....I have very vivid dreams and dream every night.....I look forward to my dreams....It's always been that way, even from a small child..

Sound likes "Three strikes your in"

When you told someone of a dream, it seems the reason was for insurance it would not happen, but you didn't know, or only suspected, it was the future.

The questions were to see if a paradox could be created where knowing the future allows you to change it, thereby invalidating the vision in absolute terms. Some mechanism may prevent this from happening. Maybe the future is changed by visiting there, and you see what it is changed to. As if, you could not view a future that you would prevent if you knew it was the future. So maybe visiting the future creates a better future. Too much responsibility, I know. I don't think I'm insane, yet.

Long ago I was having these kind of dreams until a very unpleasant dream proved to be true. They abruptly stopped. Now, about 20 years later it's beginning again. Did yours stop following an unpleasant experience?

I don't believe there is a set future...There are always forks in the road at every sec. of the day with decisions....not a set reality....But that me....along with some quantum physics studies.

I believe that too. Yet, when the future is seen that part of the future cannot change, or it would not have been what it was. No?

Hmmmmmmmm interesting question......Maybe if you realize it to some degree, it can....otherwise you start getting into that "Karma" thing...or as some call it "contracts, though that is quite different'...but all in all, I think it can be changed to some degree....just my thinking.

Thank you for helping me in this thread. If the readers see that the gap between the reach and the grasp are filled with delusion perhaps a noble purpose has been fulfilled. Otherwise at best confusing, at worst dangerous.
