I'm with you. I like "TPM" and "AOTC". I never thought they sucked.
Since watching the 2 movies it's funny have people dislike the movie in it's entirety over one or 2 characters or just 1 or 2 scenes. The battles in both movies rocked. It's why "TPM" made $978Mil world wide. Way more than "ROTS" did world-wide. but people hate it cause of Jar-Jar, lol
I actually didn't mind Jar-Jar at all. I never saw was was to hate.
So it's their taste that sour to us.

No, TPM made that much because people foolishly thought they would be given the same thrill as they were when they first saw Star Wars... By ROTS, many people had given up on the series... And rightly so. Episode I and II sucked in comparison to the OT. So did Episode III to a lesser degree. And I don't dislike the movies because of Jar Jar... I really don't mind him in Episode I, in fact, some times I even like him . His being in Episode II is just unnecessary, and quite annoying. But he is only part of a huge list of things wrong with that film, and frankly he's somewhere near the bottom of that list.
The Gungan battle in TPM is quite good, I think, apart from it being too childish at parts... The duel in TPM is the best of the PT. The space battle was dissappointing, to put it nicely... but mostly because of the fact that a nine year old kid accidently saves the day (honestly, I can't stadn that shit). The Geonosis battle in AOTC would be great if it wasn't so damn full of crappy cartoonish CG. It's fine up until Yoda arrives and says "A perimeter, create!" - seriously, isn't that taking the backwards-talk thing a bit too far? The duels in AOTC are the worst in the saga. If I wanted to see I frog on speed I'd have dumped a bunch into my sister's frog tank...
Bleh. I could rant all day about how much the PT sucks in comparison to the OT, but I have things to do...
What is this "we" stuff? Stun is right on. I hugely agree with him. AOTC, TPM & ROTS all rocked! And I love all 6 movies. I could go on and on how much I like them. I'm a huge OT fan, and I'm a huge PT fan, and that universe is not mutually exclusive.
There are more things that unite us, than divide us!
Doing movies over again is a stupid and pointless idea.
And episode 7,8,9 would destroy SW.
But hey! It's all about the great special effects and fighting isn't it?! So they should just make one movie with twenty fights in it and make planets get destroyed and black holes created by Super Mega Ultra Cool Sidious Clones!!!!! This idea is so uber mundo cool that it will be forwarded to Lucas.
