They dont really sound anything alike...blink and I doubt that was a literal comment when Tom said it would change the world...he was just hyping up the album. Why would anyone actually believe a single album would change the world?

Its certainly better than half the absolute crap out there at the moment, like Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco....how are they selling albums? Its unintelligible babble with retarded backing instruments mashed together with no concept of structure or talent.

AVA still released a good album.

This album is pretty good, except it doesnt have much depth can get boring quickly. Still, it has some great songs.

They do. The drumming and the guitar riffs.

Just because its better than crap doesnt necessarily mean its good. Being better than Panic at the Disco isnt much of an accomplishment

Well, after having the album for a while and after having listened to it numerous times, I must say that I still enjoy it. Yet, I do see what some of you mean when you say that it can "get boring quickly." I think that part of the reason for that is that it only has 10 tracks. I was expecting something a bit more "epic" I guess, with all the hype it was getting. I was only slightly disappointed, as I still think it's a great record, but it's still something that I noticed. Tom has improved a lot since his Blink days. Overall, it's still a respectable debut album with a number of awesome tracks.

Yeah true, Im hoping their next album can somehow...break off and do something actually groundbreaking, now that they've had their debut. If they keep repeating the same thing, its gonna get boring. At least Blink was different on each album, they improved each time.

As far as the music, or the live performance? Or both?

Their album wasn't too bad, but seeing them live was one of the worst experiences I've ever undergone.

I see. Yeah, that would be annoying for sure.

How about the actual performance/music. How were they live in that sense?
