Wow so Namor underwater even pulled out the Imperius Rex and looks like he is barely holding his own.And why is the Thing not running out of air by now?
Magneto didn't get jobbed and both he and Stark came off looking formidable. Iron Man put up a fight, but only through prep and it was clear he was out of his league power wise.
I disliked the bit where Magneto monologes about Stark's toys and his own hardened heart. That was pretty silly, one reason being that Magneto is a genius. Magneto also losing because he suddenly thinks they're playing a game too dangerous (He felt an entire planet be destroyed by the Phoenix in Space) is a copout and not something I think should happen. Terrible comic overall, I pity anyone who paid money for this.
And man, Namor seriously got jobbed. Not sure why Thing no longer needs air, why Namor went from swinging around the fish to suddenly being out of it, and why being punched through the air then through a Hellicarrier is only equivalent to a car moving at 45 mph.
What the hell kind of vehicles do the Marvel writers drive to work?
I didn't have problem with Magneto losing because the narrative basically season he lost because he decide to stop fighting. He was amping himself with the Magnetic field of every planet with in reach (which apparently is well out side our solar system because he was connect with a planet Phoenix destroyed)... and then he decided the fight didn't matter and stopped. That's some Thor killing Sentry in Siege shit. Iron Man only won because Magneto decided to stop fighting.

That was a very good Magneto showing. Basically, Iron Man with tailor made suit and weapons, and Jupiter magnetic field amp was on the losing end, with Magneto drawing on the magnetic field of other planets and taking it to him in a slugfest.

Vanisher teleported Wolverine's heart away in Astonishing, didn't even put Logan down for a panel.
X-Men are going to have to wait until after the Avengers movie premier to win some fights... which means Cap is going to kick Wolverine's but in issue 3.

Iron man's connection to jupiter's magnetic field was severed. Apparantley magnetic fields of many planets are only powerful enough to beat Iron man.
Cap is still going to win against logan by whacking him with his shield upside the head.
Just read the comic. Not bad. But they gave us one of those infamous "houdini panels" with Namor going from hitting Ben with the giant fish to suddenly falling to the ocean floor helplessly Smh.
Edit: I think that's the part where Luke Cage punched Namor from that other issue. Remember this is all in "real time" but from different perspectives or whatever.

There wasn't a constant connection to be severed. The satellites siphoned Jupiter's magnetic field, and send it into Iron Man's suit in a burst of energy. Magneto destroying the satellites did nothing more than prevent Iron Man from getting another boost - but the initial amp was still there, only fading as Magneto was beating on him.
See above. Also, the fact that Magneto can draw enough power to go in slugfest mode with an amped Iron Man - after getting hit unshielded by his amped energy blast, is quite insane as far as Magneto's 'strength class' is concerned.
Iron Man saying that his repulsors have no chance of getting through Magneto's shields was also quite tasty.
