Correct, according to the comics themselves. In Uncanny XMen 18 Emma says that the battle is "going terribly" and that "the only way to win" is for her and Scott to unleash the full Phoenix force. Between the Scarlet Witch, the Hulk, Hope, Xavier wrecking shit, all the other mutants, everyone else and the inevitable growth in hero factor relative to established threat that accompanies the end of any event it's really not hard to believe.
* well, they did kiss and make up everytime they quarrel, and this is the first time they've been at odds with each other... their other "break-ups" are hoaxes like in Dark Reign...
* moreover, Gillen has made good run on Uncanny X-men, and i'm hoping he'll do the same on AvX Consequences... it's just too bad that in the reshuffle of writers, Gillen would leave Uncanny X-man for Iron Man... i hope Bendis will do the same...

Hello this is Marvel where Avengers always win (even if they are assholes) and where everyone else is a bad guy. Also in Marvel you will notice that characters like Wolverine, who in his entire life has killed more people than half the villains, will always be forgiven and never pay for his crimes while others e.g, Cyclops who try to fight for what they believe in and save their kind with as less bloodshed as possible, will be persecuted, and killed on sight.

You said everything I was going to say its so true. I knew it was gonna end like this from the beginning but still... the avengers do & have done so many messed up things & the just get away with it simply because there the avengers & they can do no wrong.
if you fight the avengers they beat you down imprison you in there private jail & hold you there for as long as they want without judge or jury... the avengers are basically at this point the police, military, CIA, FBI, judge, jury, & president all rolled into one team
* what's your take in all of these?
PS: i hate what they're doing to Thor recently... Thor should've been in Asgard, and it should've been him whom Cap should be "praying" to for help, not Hulk (sorry Hulk fans, i like Hulk but this plot is stupid)... Hulk's part in AvX should've been the one on Red Hulk...
