Wounds weaken characters in comics carver. Poor wonder woman, even getting wrapped in his indestructible cape can't make her survive a nuke without getting KOED.
Apollo said they were. Stated on panel that he had amped them.
His durability was already lessened due to the fight. Add to the fact that he's in a nuclear reactor that is radiation shielded (ie, stops him from getting more sun), and he's not going to be healing.
The logic behind Superman being blocked from absorbing sunlight and that makes him weaker is stupid.
In fact doesn't that already go against the continuity established that he can keep going for 5 days or whatever without.
Why are we talking about durability? If there was a piece of krytonite inside the reactor there would be room for discussion but all I see is a bloodied superman from a beating(by an already stronger opponent) being knocked out by a nuke.
Apollo did help the Kryptonians, that was made pretty clear. I just think you're confusing a POWER UP with what was said. Apollo helped them gain Kryptonian level strength faster then they normally would. Remember, they've been on the planet a very short time and yet are just as strong as Clark.
It wasn't until that blast from the sky that they were beyond normal levels and became supercharged.
Being in the radiation chamber didn't WEAKEN him but it did prevent him from healing because he had no direct access to sunlight. It was the beatdown from Zod that weakened him.
Anyways, this book is making Superman look incompetent as f*ck. Zod was recovering from a blast and was still beating the utter shit out of Clark.
Also, I think this should settle the debate on whether or not Diana is as strong as the Kryptonians. She was holding her own against Faora who wasn't weakened like Zod and didn't even use her weapons.
I should've said was charged to the level of Clark, not super charged. I thought it was clear, but then, obviously not to some. Bug that's OK because I Hate him.
