Yeah... 5 BILLION years later and Superman is still alive, Lois is still alive(cuz 'Eternity Formula'... why not?), Jon is still alive, earth has been abandoned for 4 billion years(no doubt Supes moved the populace elsewhere), and he came back just to 'talk' with his parents again and witness the end.

Very cool and touching scene, tbh. Frankly, I was surprised it wasn't written by Morrison. thumb up

I have no doubt he was inspired by All-Star Superman/DC 1Mil.

It is in Batman #42 and Batman takedown Superman with a whistle on the previous panel so that's CANON.

YES, the Flash are trashes in combat and run in a straight lane on their opponents to impale themselves on Catwoman's punches.

They were mind-controlled but still, it doesn't change much the way they fight at running straight to their opponents in a predictable fashion.

Not really.

Running in a straight line is a really bad idea if you want to do boxing against someone, the trajectory is boringly predictable and you let yourself wide open to a counter attack.

Super powerful / super strong / super fast characters can only shine, when other characters are not involved. In the most recent Flash episode he performed a bajillion tasks, while a nuclear explosion was frozen in time... but in another episode he can't catch someone, who has the power to reanimate statues. Like wut?
He runs from America to China in the time it takes a camera to turn from left to right, but he can't speed down the stairs and through a door to catch a regular human.

It's totally admissible because it didn't really change the way the Flashes fight on a daily basis.

But hey, once you are going full Ad Hominem with nothing pointing out that they cannot be defeated the same way again, we already know that you lost the debate in your own mind. thumb up
