As for the feat. It's crazy, especially when you consider that Tombstone had Adamantium Hammerhead as a backup... and Hammerhead was pissing his pants when he saw Kingpin in action.
My favorite retcons are random Hulk personas. Sometimes he's Savage, sometimes he's smart, then Savage, then smart, etc.
We'll see how long his Immortal persona lasts before he becomes someone else for no reason.
Didn't Bendis shoot him in the head, in his Defenders run?
It's not just deaths. I don't think they ever officially powered Herc up after the 90's "mortal" depowering. It was just ignored, and he was back to normal.
