I think he crushed kalibak’s weapon and made it discharge. The energy beam he tanked/deflected with his hand towards kalibak was enough to ko/blast him away.

I haven't even looked at the scans, but it sounds like they're clowning US Agent just like the Falcon and Winter Soldier show did.
Which fits the same pattern that followed Thor and Namor becoming jokes, with Namor looking like a fool leading a team with Thanos in it, and getting punked by T'challa, while Thor has become a meme about failure.
And don't get me started on Iron Fist.
But it must be a coincidence that they're all white men.
I can take a lot of shite, including Iron Fist losing his power. But don't mess with Casey Jones.
He's a staple of TMNT, nobody wants to see that. Not anyone.
