Your right. Middle eastern terrorists dont negotiate. Why? Becasue they are people whos actvities are driven by religious motivations not political like the IRA was.
Thats not the reason the IRA came after england. They wanted for northen ireland to become part of the Irish republic. Relgious motivations were not the main drivng force unlike al queada.
i have a few different opinions on this bad boy.
ONE you cant wage a war on an idea, which is what terrorism is. you can defeat a country in war, but not something like terrorism. how do you judge if you've won or not, if the world is rid of terrorrists? come on people, this will never happen, it is impossible, a stupid war that we really cant win
TWO i have mixed opinions on whether bush going into Iraq was good or bad, but one thing i do know is taht know that we're in, we CAN NOT just leave. that would screw so much crap up. we've gotta stay in and finish what we started. keep fightin the fight, whether it's the good fight or not. amen!
I think you will find the reason they attack USA is cause they are sick of being cornholed by them... most Iraqies would place most of there problems on the USA, and they would be right too....
You should look into the IRA alittle more... They were mainly pissed due to past actions by the UK... But we realised that killing them all would only bread more hate... So we road it out and had the bombings and killings, kiddnappings and robbings... and in the end they negotiated peace for nothing.... we still hold north island....

Without a doubt. However Belfast and the North of Ireland still has huge problems caused by the para militarys of both stripes moving into organised crime.

how can people say we should just pull out. with what we've established so far, can you imagine how screwed up tht nation would be if just "pulled out?" we have to stay in and finish it off, whether we should be their or not.
thats the problem though, is their is nothing to 'finish off'.
all we can do is occupy indefinately as they become more infuriated with each passing day.
how can we always say that they are so f-in pissed that we're their? why? cuz all the media reports is when some iraqi tries to kill a soldier or holds hostages, they never report the good things. and thats the problem, people h ave a foggy view of what the issue in Iraq really is. and imagine if we've helped them move into a new type of government, we are trying to improve their economy, then the next day we're gone. backlash. that's when things would start to get violent. until they are ready to fend for themselves, we have to stay. and even when they're ready, we have to ease off slowly
