Demonic possesion is a possibility even in on earth. If people could augment the ZPEF, they could destroy fleets with their minds, see things before they happen, and call lightsabers and such to them. People can be put into stasis and survive thousands of years on earth and slugs could evolve into being's able to talk.
Like I said, its possible. My proof that it is there? The laws of physics have been demonstrated repeatedly. Gravity is present, nuclear reactions work the same way, and the laws of physics are omnipresent as far as human knowledge goes.
