But sometimes what? You make it more technical in hopes that some idiot who can barely form a sentence, will understand it more?

You see the Grand Canyon sized crack in your logic, yes? The rules were created so that you could say "That's not applicable, not in rules" purely to make dealing with idiots more bearable. Without actually thinking "Why don't we just stop giving a shit about them?"

When I arrived it wasn't like that. If there was an idiotic post, everyone ignored it. Most you'd get is a couple of laughable replies. It wasn't "OK WAIT! This complete moron has made the stupidest comment ever, so I hereby suggest we halt proceedings and explain to him, in highly scientific jargon, why he is wrong."

Yeah, I can't even remember the last time I looked in the vs thread in the horror forum. There could be pictures of naked dead babies and I wouldn't know about it.

There's a horror vs?

I've more or less gotten the rules into the heads of the posters in the VG Vs. after I went on a mass closing spree a few times, now I usually only peek in there maybe once a day. Plus people are good about directly reporting problems to me.

Its a hypothetical theoretical match, which means that anything can happen at a given time, within its own reason... and within the characters given powers. You can't debate without logic. You respect Never? He often goes into logic to support his arguments as well, I teamed up with him against Jinzin and Creshosk on a thread about wolverine.

The laws of inertia are present here, in a comic book hulk would NEVER knock wolverine into another state and simply win, the match has to look good... but in the forum, its all fair game.

I hate when people try to treat a theoretical matchup like an ACTUAL comic book... its what Jinzin does, and he thinks wolverine can beat the hulk, and godzilla.

Some truth in this, however it's in the geeks code of honour to take it seriously, have you not seen comic book guy in the Simpsons.
I have a problem with the Philosophy forum and thats that many who post in it use their own strange ideas which you could argue are philosophical, you could also argue they isane or just plain ignorant, others often do not understand some of the basic schoold of Philosophy, I only did epistemeology as a unit in my degree and my philosophy goes that far and no further smile

It IS possible to take something too seriously, though.....while I am a HUGE SW fan, I'm not going to get all bent out of shape over something that's silly and ultimately meaningless.

I understand all that. There comes a time when it gets ridiculous, surely you know that. When it becomes more about what the character can possibly do at a stretch of the imagination and explained through science, it's not longer purposeful.

Ironically you deny giving me a second thought but I'm still spoke about on that forum frequently, to one degree or another.

Not by me.

You're unknown here and the only reason I even mentioned you was because it was on topic and I was questioned by someone about a false occurance. That occurance being your CONTINUAL claims to have driven me from the forum.

So do you see where I'm going? Or do I need to explain a theory? I'm not so insecure enough to claim the whippings, you apparantly are, despite them never happening.

The majority would disagree.

So before you venture out of the forum full of idiots that you now "rule", think first. Apply some science to it maybe.

Doesn't change the fact that your very tone betrays your feelings about it. I'm humoring you.

Running buddy, eh? The biggest debate I've had in six months was against him. Pfft.

I lack logic? Sure I do. You're overflowing with it to the point that you have to, HAVE TO, use real world science in any debate. Highlight would be Storm VS Doom. You were getting hammered until the only thing you could do was struggle to prove a point that didn't even matter.

Either way, I don't lack knowledge. I just don't feel the need to show off to fanboys on KMC's Versus forum. Whether you dislike me or not, I don't lack knowledge. Nor will I claim to know close to the most, it doesn't concern me enough.

Before I do. Deny that you came into the OTF, hunted me down and more or less tried to own me by claiming that you "owned" me, hence me leaving the forum. Deny that first, just so that you'll look more stupid when I find the thread. Regardless on you believing you did, me knowing you didn't, you are going to deny making that claim? We both know you did it. You also cited the Magneto/Hulk thread as a reason. Then, when I did go to the Comic VS, you bumped the thread in hopes that everyone would back you and people came to the conclusion that it got nowhere.

So? You didn't hand out any whippings. On the contrary, science glow aside, you received sound whoopings on many occasions. Your ability to continually post page after page purely to claim one point, doesn't equate to whipping. You're persistant, not good.

It's irony, that's all.

In closing, let's get down to the base shall we? The majority in the VS forum are idiots, they can agree or disagree with you all they like. Am I in there every day defending myself? No. Why? Because I know that A) It didn't happen and B) I have nothing to prove.

You? You've made a rare appearance in the GDF to debate me in something you're apparantly so sure of. You're the one going out of your way to make sure people believe you. I couldn't care less because I know what happened.
