I think spideys sister must only know about the gwen stacy from the ultimate spidey comic-she apparently has read only that version,which is as bad as the movies are and she has said she has read that,because yeah,if she ever read the amazing spiderman comics, then she would know that Gwen Stacy is very innocent.

A complete Travesty! Gwen is supposed to be a blonde. And besides Peter Parker was always better of with Gwen than with that horrendous MJ. These Man-Spider films are a cardinal sin to the true character of Spider-Man.
So true Winddancer,so true.The one thing I may actually like about Man-Spider 3 though is that it looks like sony is pulling a reverse on us.In the comics.Peter meets Gwen first and thats his true love and later meets Mary Jane and of course Gwen ended up dying at the hands of the green goblin,where in these movies,Mary Jane came first and is Petes true love,we already know that after this movie,Kirsten Dunst isnt going to do anymore Man-Spider movies so I would not be surprised that instead of recasting someone else to play mary jane,sony might actually kill off mary Jane instead of Gwen.That would so much make me happy,that way that damn marriage between Peter and that whore mj will never take place.yahoo!!!! only thing that I dread about Gwen being in the film is Sam Raimi has screwed up the spidey mythos big time with the characters,like he has mary jane being much more like gwen stacy by being kind and nice and sweet like gwen was in the comics making her 90% Gwen stacy and only about 10% mary Jane, with Raimi in charge,he'll probably go and screw up Gwens character as well by making her like mary jane and make her be a dumb blond,and the stuck up and self centered b!tch that mary jane was in the comics.
no it wouldnt surpise me at all, but hey, back when he just joined and was suspected of being a banned venom character, he said he has kids and stuff so...
to mr parker: yeah, raimi is a moron when it comes to spiderman movies, ill admitt i like the spidey cam was a good idea, but people like the movies so much because, everyone has been waiting for a spiderman movie for a really really long time i guess. Spiderman movies could do way better than what's going on right now.
and worst of all, raimi claims to be a spiderman fan...while staying very very untrue to its source (even though, yes it is an adaption)
and this is a question for anyone: why is sam raimi qualified to direct spiderman?? has he filmed any other similar action movies?? or is he just winging it

hahahah not anymore after what Marvel did to her with Norman and the babies and all...although most of us dont' want to believe it happened.
Besides, when Gwen first appeared, she was very temperamental and catty, almost reminiscent of the way Felicia Hardy was portrayed in the 90s Animated Series. It's only when she and Peter got together and Captain Stacy was introduced along with his death did she start adopting the whole "next-door girl-crying on Peter's shoulder" personality.
God, I want a HOT girl to play Gwen. Perhaps they're worried that they shouldn't overshadow Kirsten Dunst's MJ (who looked ok in the 1st movie but was never MJ-HOT).

Who on earth would cast any person as bad as any howard person to play a part in this film. Not even raimi. If she's in this. and one of the worst villians (sandman) then this film is screwed. definetly not seeing it

There really wasn't even chemistry between the two characters. One was model the other a geeky newspaper photographer. Marvel has been trying to change the character of MJ to make it more fitting for Peter. In the Man-spider films they illustrate MJ as a struggling stage actress. That is pure bull. But anyways as long as she says "Get'em Tiger" all the fanatics will be pleased. I quite personally just want my old time favorite high school geek Spider-Man back.
I sense someone here living in denial. because it has been confirmed in every major news source around the country that its official.Sony is just a step behind in things obviously.I just think its sad that you didnt feel this way when the first film was coming out and just be content like I was to wait till it came out on cable.
