... hand a generation..? If people want to have sex they will... if you're personally not ready for the responsibility of sex then don't have sex... everyone I know whose had sex.... did so in long-term relationships.

How about I clarify. A woman cannot become pregnant without someone elses ova and scientific intervention, post-menopause, and even then it's highly difficult. It would be impossible for a 100 year old woman. God cannot make 100 year old women fertile.

And no the sentence didn't make sense, you implied people use religion as an excuse to do something you consider wrong. No one uses religion as an excuse to do something wrong...

And the best of luck to them all....

How about I clarify...*ahem* God-A being conceived as the perfect, omnipotent, omniscient originator and ruler of the universe, the principal object of faith and worship in monotheistic religions.
The force, effect, or a manifestation or aspect of this being.
A being of supernatural powers or attributes, believed in and worshiped by a people, especially a male deity thought to control some part of nature or reality.
An image of a supernatural being; an idol.
One that is worshiped, idealized, or followed: Money was their god.
A very handsome man.
A powerful ruler or despot.

laughing that has to be the most ignorant sentence I have ever read...

They also get to be teased because they look and act different, they get to stress out their parents who have no experience in caring for a child with special needs...God should have made them so they'd be happy, and healthy.

That's idiocy and downplaying of a serious condition. Down's Syndrome is not only mental retardation, and abnormal facial characteristics, it includes high risk of cardiopulmonary system malformation, risk of abnormal intestinal development and increased risk of developing leukemia.

So you wouldn't ever steal, commit adultery, or have sex outside of marriage because some book tells you not to?

I have never stolen, never killed, never raped, never committed any crime. I didn't not commit a crime because of a book, I haven't committed a crime because the LAW says it's wrong, and the LAW is far more important than what a book with outdated opinions will ever have to say.

So why don't you blame the children for teasing them? And I don't believe that is a very well supported statement. As I have seen many documentaries, let alone have visited schools with kids that have down Syndrom, and the "acceptance" is overwhelming. I believe the words, "Not my will, but your's be done" come into play.

So why did God allow them to be born that way, unless he can cure them of their heart conditions. roll eyes (sarcastic)

Blame the parents, who knew what their child would face. It's the parents responsiblity to ensure their child is treated well, and that they are capable of looking after a child with special needs.

No, I know not to do these things because of my conscious. A religion created "thing" fyi....

The law came from the bible. Read the Pentateuch....

Apparently people killing themselves along with other people, using their religion as an excuse isn't, and i'll quote it for you:

A lot of laws we have in place today come from the Bible, but a lot of discrimination people face today comes from the Bible. Homophobia comes from the Bible, the Bible says it's wrong, people think it's wrong. Why do think same sex couples can't get married? It's because of the Bible, and what it says.
