Right there and again in the post I replied to.

Though I'll admit, it's quite hilarious seeing a wannabe Harlem "gangsta" and "manic" hispanic trying to give lessons on English and "trying too hard", when it appears they've got the combined literary prowess of the common garden slug and all the gangster stylings of a suburban lawyer with his hat back to front.

I'm not taking sides in this little war of words here, neither am I condoning it, but that was very funny.

Anyway, everyone stop making inferior comebacks this instant, or the thread gets it.

Yeah, I've got a lock button, and I'm not afraid to use it smokin'

If you're going to do that, at least get the words right.

Virginia Woolf actually said that Joyce's 'Ulysses' was reminiscent of a queasy undergraduate scratching his pimples.

I never quoted Wolf laughing out loud I paraphrased, VVD you try and come to ACs rescue and fumble the ball, I know the two of you are close but why bother. wink paraphrased = greasy as I suspect AC is. smile

Hey PVS is not the only one with access to comeback generators wink

I honestly thought you were better than insult websites, disgraceful. Furthermore, if you read VVD's post you'd be aware of how bad you just made yourself look stupid.

You didn't quote or paraphrase 'Wolf'.

Haha. Yes, you changed one word. Utterly original.

I am coming to no-one's rescue, but the fact that you detected that in my post, and are now on the defensive (and will now deny this with liberal use of smileys) suggests to me that your continual reiterating of the idea that 'It's just a forum' is a case of the lady doth protest too much.

Nope, not prescience. Same old Whirly.
