Researchers at the University of Georgia conducted a study to determine the cause of homophobia. For the purposes of this study, "homophobia" was defined as "a negative emotional reaction, e.g. anxiety, discomfort, fear, etc. to homosexuality."
Of a sample of 64 men, none of whom had engaged in homosexual behavior in their lifetime and whose sexual fantasies involved only women, 35 were rated homophobic and 29 were rated non-homophobic according to the Index of Homophobia.
The men were then shown gay, lesbian, and straight adult films while a plethysmograph device measured the circumference of their penis as a gauge of sexual arousal.
The two groups exhibited similar arousal when they viewed four minute samples of the lesbian and the straight adult films, but responded differently to the sample of the gay film.
Of the non-homophobic men, 66% experienced an insignificant degree of penile tumescence, 10% experienced a moderate degree of penile tumescence, and 24% experienced a definite degree of penile tumescence.
Of the homophobic men, 20% experienced an insignificant degree of penile tumescence, 26% experienced a moderate degree of penile tumescence, and 54% experienced a definite degree of penile tumescence.
The researchers concluded that this data is consistent with the belief that homophobic men have repressed homosexual desires.
depends on the motive. if its just finger pointing in an attempt to expose someone as gay and then attack them for being gay, absolutley.
however if the person(s) suggesting latant homosexuality only wishes to help and encourage the supposed homosexual to accept themselves and let go of all the self hate and denial...i would call them a champion of gay acceptance.
Seems like a never ending paradox of sorts..you make fun of someone else who you think is a homophobe and is a repressed gay, then in turn..you are alluding to the fact that you are a repressed gay...and then if someone makes fun of you making fun of that person who you think is a repressed gay..that then alludes to them being a repressed gay...
So I guess when you think about it..it kind of boils down to this..
everyone is gay, and they are just repressing it a bit..
What do ya think about my theory guys..

By all means, point out where. You have yet to identify or cite a logic fallacy correctly, so I will not hold my breath.
The Dalai Lama has never stated that homosexuality is a choice.
Even if we presume that he has, The Dalai Lama is an authority on Buddhism, not human sexuality.
Considering that it is your belief that in Nazi Germany, if Hitler says one is a doctor, he can suddenly pick up a scalpel and perform surgery, I do not expect you to understand that concept of authoritarianism.
I always thought it would be the other way around..if you vigourously fight for something that you believe in..doesn't it mean that you believe in the behavior that you are fighting for..or at least a bit interested in it..
I mean...if a man defends abortion..he probably wouldn't mind if his girlfriend had one right?
So if a man defends homosexuality as being the equal of heterosexuality..wouldn't that mean that he might not mind if a man bangs him up the bunghole..or vice a versa?

I am gay, and I am the one making the accusation. This blows your theory out of the water. It is unfortunate that it does not also blow you out of the closet.
No, I defend abortion but would never want one for a girlfriend. There's a lot of people who support the notion and necessity of abortion without completely embracing it themselves.
Same goes for homosexuality. I defend it, but I would never want a man's dick in my butt. Same deal.
