Sooooo you're a producer? Producer's can have a TON of influence on a movie, you know. Tim Burton Produced A Nightmare Before Christmas And how much credit does he get for that? Tons. But he produces a so-so movie like Forever and everyone seems to want to think he had nothing to do with it.

there are many a things fundamentally wrong with the film. most important is the relationship between batman and the joker. i love how he took quite the complex relations between the two to the most overdone film hero-villan cliche. batman doesn't kill. in this batman is an automated man killing machine.nor is he any kind of celebrity.bruce wayne is portrayed as a mumbling social outcast and many more.

my main point i just this; if the fundamentals are wrong than i can't exactly root for the rest of the film. erm

the music was good tho. i love the batman theme there.

How are you supposed to relate to someone who's one weakness doesn't seem to be a weakness at all. I am endlessly annoyed when time and time again he vanquishes Kryptonite like it's nothing.

Which makes him the ultimate super hero. Just because you have your insecurities with Kryptonite, doesn't make Superman a bad Super hero.

superman says a lot about the human psyche tho. we as a people have always looked for a savior. esp one that is above-human in one form or the other. i always found it interesting how this super-man wasn't really a man or human at all. superman just seems to psychologically be fulfilling that way i think.
