little mermaid is so sweetly sad and is a pretty tale about desire and longing. i think it resonates with people well. also i personally adore ariel's need to get out of the waters. it speaks so beautifully metaphoricallybig grin

i was always forced to watch B&B and LM so i dont think i enjoyed them because of that.

i missed its recent release on dvd!sad

but i have it on tape-which doesn't work now, but i;m too attached to throw out. it was the first disney movie i ever saw. it is special.no expression
