I don't see Alliance as unserious or a spammer in the least. He (as far as I have seen) has never resorted to rants, insults, unneccesary profanity, etc. He seems to be articulate and very rational thinker who adds a lot to this forum. Personally, I look forward to what he has to say most of the time.

How could you all go about your daily lives, then sign on here to express your thoughts in a formal matter, and have no say when someone makes a fool out of themselves here? It's this type of garbage that allows people to successufully not take Satanists serious. Satanists are supposed to be very intelligent. One of the reasons I haven't become one. I just don't have the resources to back up any of my future plans with the Satanic community. Here we have beings who like to shoot in the dark, and make statements based purely on idiotic madness. Not even four posts away you were told to stay on topic by a moderater. Now tell me, does this thread have any respect left in it?

That is my goal: common polity in the context of plurality.
People have opinons that imo are dead wrong and un-based, but however cannot imagine how they think. There is often incredible depth to thier thoughts, even though I think they are wrong.

Wow, Scythe. I'm somewhat of a cynic myself but you seem to have some sort of vendetta. Lighten up a bit. If it makes you feel any better, I marvel at how Alliance still continues to misspell "atheism" even after being repeatedly reminded by someone else on this forum in the past.
Satanism has been turned into a joke by pop-cultural, or at least something that marks one as a "loser" or a "freak."
Personally, I've heard some pretty grim stories surrounding what I call "True Satanism," where people actively kill other humans, et cetera. The book Satan's Children (written by a psychiatrist/hypnotherapist who dealt with many people who suppressed memories of being raised in Satanic-conditions) can be very frightening.

Yes, just as you said, ignorance is bliss, but there's a time and place to be ignorant, and a time and place to be down to earth. My main beef is that, you, being of sound mind and heart, seem to encourage foul-play on here. Which, again, there's nothing left for me to do, but b*tch and moan about it.

On topic. As the person above me stated, how are Satanists suppose to regain any lost respect, due to the fact that they are pictured as cynical beings?
I can't begin to count all the times I've heard posers looming around the cemetary with a black cat in hand. I used to live next door to a populated cemetary, and I've seen some things that have made me laugh, and some have clearly disgusted me. People are mistreating the religion of Satanism and it sickens me.
I believe a group effort from all of us who proclaim to be true Satanists, start acting on our own, and begin cleaning up the already scarred remains of this broken religion. Yes, to say it's broken, is somewhat correct. It's not as steady or rich as Christianity, and it's not celebrated by enough.
Also note that I have included myself in this self-quest of redifining our view on Satanism. I have arranged a meeting with a member of the church of Satan. I feel I have grown spiritually strong, and intelligent enough to carry on this burden which people call, "a religion". We'll see how things go.

Pfft if you read back through the entire thread you see what a real satanist is......no belief in god or the devil..........better now??? People like to call themselves satanists and have NO idea what they are talking about..........Ever read the Satanic bible, or hear of Anton Levey??........yeah.....no satan....
