Wanna know what bugs me about online play?
How people are always saying stuff like:
"I HAVE to get the torque bow to get the achievement"
"I HAVE to get the boom shot to get the achievement"
etc. etc. etc.
Just play the game, its fun, your not supposed to play for the achievements, what happenned to having fun playing online...
Yeah I hate when people are like that. They won't even settle for letting other people get the weapon at least one round.
So...one time I was hosting and this little ***** wanted the HoD(Hammer of Dawn), so I went and took it after he had used it for 5 straight rounds. He gets angry and just blocks my way out of the room(Rooftops) until I give the HoD to him. I warned him not to **** with me because I would do something that would hurt him...he laughed. I quit and he lost 15 HoD kills. Stupid *****. Never ever **** with a host. Anyways...on topic I like player match more, but I am an achievements whore. However achievements don't rule my online experience.

On the outside, you're a battle-hardened veteran who takes no gruff from nobody. But your true motivation comes from your love and your closeness to your best friend. Because of your emotional side, people may at first think of you as weaker, but the power you get from what you feel gives you the ability face any obstacles.
i dont know, ive had a lot more fun playing graw than i did playing this. i got sick of gow really fast actually. does the online play add a lot to it?

It really does, for pretty much every game I have ever played, I have spent more time on the campaign than on online play because I always preferred it. But with Gears, I have actually barely played the campaign and only do online multiplayer.
yes I did. The best spot to get that is in Act 3, before you go underground. When the stranded is leading you and you go on a bunch of boards that are falling apart, after he falls down, fall down after him. Make sure you have some grenades with you, just start running around the bottom and when you think you have three or more wretches following you, turn around and stick one of them. Just keep restarting when you run out of grenades. That's what I did.
