well Ravens dont exactly have a scary offense. Ravens had a lot of games they got lucky to win this year. I live in the area and I have seen every Raven game this year and even been to some. Colts dont have to have a stellar D this week its just about manning and he cant have 3 INT's. The D won 1 game, Manning has to win the 2nd, and then they will need everyone to beat SD.
My two Superbowl pics are New Orleans and San Diego
Where San Diego is going probably going to win due to their superior Defense
I wish the Bears could win the SB, but sadly I can't see them beating the Saints in the conference championship (Seriously nobody in the NFC is beating either of these guys. Seattle is going to get shut out by Chicago again and the Eagles are going to lose to the Saints)
when you say they will get shutout again what game are you referring too? Because I dont remember a game where the bears shutout seattle. Also both teams are pretty different. Bears have some serious injuries on the defensive side of the ball and Grossman has been well gross. Also at that point in the year Seattle was without Alexander and Stevens (2 major offensive targets for hasselbeck) and missing guys on the O-line (which has been a problem all year)
Now Herndon broke his ankle so hes done but if Trufant or at least Jimmy Williams can get back Seattle wont be so decimated in the secondary. Luckily the Eagles won so we get extra time for the secondary to heal before having to maybe face the air attack of the Saints.
I like that all the WC teams were elimnated.
p.s. thanks go out once again to my man Tony Romo. (also dear parcells this is why kicks in that situation should be done on 3rd down.)
Oh come on dude. Seriously, Dallas needed to take as much time off on the clock, and needed the TD to be safe. Sure, they ****ed up the kick, but any coach in the world would not of kicked the ball on 3rd down when they have 3-4 yards to go to the first down (even less maybe), and extra 2 yards to get the lead again with an 2 point conversion to bring it up 7.
Would you want Seattle to kick the field goal on 3rd down with more than a minute left of the clock to only get up by 2, knowing that the other team was most likely to go back and score....not including that Brown has been having of the best season in the league for kickers.
Kicking on the field goal on third down would of been the biggest mistake Parcells could of done. The only time you do that is if you have like 2 seconds to go...not over an minute on the 4 yard line.
I was curious what the talk would be on here between Smas and Forum regarding the Cowboys/Seahawks game, but I come back and there's all these random freaks posting and...well, I'll just leave it at that.
I was wondering why they didn't focus on whether or not Glenn had enough control at the two yard line before the fumble, as oppposed to just the TD vs. Safety aspect of it. Maybe they did and I just couldn't tell, 'cause I was out at a bar and the band had just started so they turned down the TV volume.
And here (just like every other game) is a perfect example of why pre-game sports talk and prediction chatter means absolutely nothing. I remember ESPN talking about holding for field goals in semi-inclement weather as a big part of the matchup! Same goes for pass interference. In other words, maybe the good old days in the '80's, when they didn't have the Internet, ESPN, ESPN2, FSN, ESPNNEWS, etc....weren't so bad. It was a time when we could just watch the game without hearing a bunch of 25-second matchup analyses from 100 ex-quarterbacks.
Wild Card weekend is supposed to be, in the league of parity, what separates the contenders with the pretenders. I'm with Forum on this one in that I was happy the #5 & #6 seeds lost. Well, the Dallas/Seahawks game could have gone either way, but I do like seeing #1-#4 seeds facing off in the Divisional Round.

Just like I said earlier. Both the Giants and the Cowboys don't belong in the playoffs. To me this Romo guy is just over hyped. I'm sure in a few years he will be a good QB. In our current times he just isn't as great as sport show host make him out to be.
Hate to see Tiki retire. He's a fave of mine.
Well, so far my prediction on the Pats path to the Superbowl is looking okay. The pressure now is on the Chargers. They must win at home no matter what...since I like SD a lot. I'm hoping it will be a tight score game.
Oh, yeah, just wanted to add that that assclown that got shoved out of the way by Belichick (a.k.a. the vulture who was swarming around Mangini, hoping that some kind of fight would break out) is an assclown.
It was in the begining of the season. On a monday night
Back when Rex Grossman was actually pretty good, not a liability for the Bears to clean up after
I don't see a shutout, but Hassleback and Alexander haven't been the same since they were both injured
The Seahawks only real chance is for Grossman to screw up again, but Lovey Smith has learned that Grossman doesn't have his heart in the game like the rest of the team does
