Hmm, how bout the videogame forum?

I go videogame forum and generally this forum. Movies sometimes.

Or even better the artwork forum? Or the poetry forum? Hhahahaha.

And I dont think it would be right to post in the religion forum due to the fact we actually might hurt somebody or something.

Okay, tell me what you think about this.

The loser has to go into the Artwork forum and:

1) Start a thread with a bunch of stupid pictures that don't make any sense and start acting like your collection is the best.

2) Find a thread with someone posting a bunch of pictures about their pet and starting saying stuff like, "why'd you get an orange cat? They smell." or "Having an overweight dog tells alot about the insecurity of its owner."

3) Go to the Terminator forum and create threads like:
"Did anyone know that Linda Hamilton's really a man?"

etc....

That sounds good.

Hey, there are so other people that post in this thread. Don't forget last week's "Go Dolphins Woot! Woot!" and "Chiefs Rule!"

Hahaha.
I was looking at the chiefs and they actually have a somewhat better defense.
Its going to be a different year. Vikings with a defense, Chiefs with a defense. Lions looking like the Colts. Its going to be different.

With the Chiefs adding:
Ashley Ambrose
Kendrell Bell
Derrick Johnson
Sammy Knight
Patrick Surtain

They should jump to a top 15 defense. With the offense they have, even though they lost Morton, they have a good chance of winning 10 games.

I had them first in the AFC West.

The only problem is that Surtain, Knight and Ambrose are getting kinda of old and might not perform the way the Chiefs are expecting.

Johnson and Bell will defintly help though.

Yeah, I'm with you in the fact that Sammy Knight and Ashley Ambrose are probably 1 season away from retirement, but I still think Patrick Surtain can still play. He may be the difference maker for the Chiefs secondary, because it always seems they are 1 or 2 injuries away from an average defense - and those injuries happen.

Kendrell Bell needs to stop getting hurt so much. I heard he's already pulled his groin or something since becoming a Chief.

I wouldnt be surpraised.

Surtain could be a difference maker, but he wasnt really one back in Miami last year. He's getting around 29 this year. But it could happen.

Everyones talking D-fense...which is smart since it is going to be the difference maker in the Superbowl yet again. The thing is that this will be one of those years where teams that are on the outside are going to surprise people. Why? because the scores are going to be closer this upcoming year than they have been since the explosion of offense in the NFL. Anyone with the time and patience....see if you can find the average point difference over say the last 15 years. I would put $10 on the fact that it will be like 2 1/2 or maybe three points diff. That is close people. The blow-outs will be few and far between. Good for 4th quarter drama...yeah BABY, YEAH!!!!

To throw another topic out there, I feel that the two teams that are going to win about 3-4 games less than what people are thinking are going to be the Buffalo Bills and San Diego Chargers.

My reasoning for the Bills is J.P. Losman. 'Nuff said and we know the history of making wrong QB choices in Buffalo (cough, cough, Rob Johnson, cough).

San Diego Chargers? Well, this is almost the same team that sucked in 2003. Only problem is Drew Brees isn't playing for his career anymore. Even if he sucks, there will still be offers on the table. Antonio Gates was a nice surprise, but it's a little disturbing how many critics are rating him over Tony Gonzalez as far as being the NFL's best tight end. One year Pro Bowl season, let's not get carried away folks. Tomlinson was the same and the secondary has improved, I will admit, but nothing really sticks out to tell me they're going to win as many games this year. Kind of reminds me of the Ravens year-in and year-out.

Yeah, the bills are going to suck balls. Losman has never even taken a snap yet in the NFL. The funny reason for picking him over Bledsoe was that Bledsoe is slow and Losman isnt. They wanted some moveability. Thats always nice, but considering Losman isnt Vick, and hasnt proven himself, I though letting them battle it out during training camp would of been better. But Holcombe is a pretty good backup.

Chargers, maybe. Defense is good while the offense is also. Bree's could take a step back, but I think he's going to improve. Gates isnt nearly as good as people think, but he' still highly athletic. Tomlinson, I feel is the best RB in the league. Defense will improve, so I think top of the thier division is easily done.

The other teams in the division are the:
Raiders - there is no way that Moss will pick this team up to a point to contend with the Chargers, the defense is horrible and Moss is going to be like Moss, and remember, Collins isnt Culpepper.
Broncos- same old broncos, but a year older aka, Plummer and Smith.
Chiefs - as I said before, much improved defense, which hasnt played together yet and a year older.

I think Chargers winning it again isnt that hard to see, but I can also see them losing alot too.

Next topic:

Who will step forward in the NFC West?

Kurt Warner doesn't have a strong history on grass, but I thought he did alright at the Meadowlands last season. It was all politics. He has a great stable of young Cardinal receivers to throw to (Johnson, Boldin, Fitzgerald) and I believe Shipp will be carrying the ball. I recollect them drafting a RB somewhere in the draft, but I can't put my finger on it. They got a stud CB with the first pick and should make it to...8 wins, which is great for them.

It was funny seeing on TV the other day Mike Nolan talking about the 49ers being a great, solid team because of the draft. 3 wins.

The Rams are getting old and on the decline, so it's the Seahawks to win it again. It will probably be a 10-6 record and they'll play host to another wild card game loss.

I see.
The Cardinals are going to be the surpraise team of the divison. Rams are getting old and have no defense, but they still have Holt and Buldger and Jackson to run it. Thats a pretty potent offense.
Seahawks though, have Hasselback and Alexander and Jackson. But they're defense is pretty crappy also.
Cardinals I feel will do good. Warner isnt the best anymore, but he did win 5 games for the Giants before he got yanked. Thats counting for something.

49ers wont do good, but remember last year? The Chargers were in the same position and busted out to a 12-4 record. I dont think the 49ers will be like that but I can see more than 3 wins. Depends if Smith and Barlow do well. Also, sometimes a coach can do wonders to crappy teams.

Yeah, I pretty much feel the same way.

Okay, next topic:

What kind of defensive back is the NFL evolving itself to?

2 things to consider:
1) The Roy Williams horsecollar will receive scrutiny and punishment in 2005.
2) Illegal Contact penalty being enforced more.

So...are the days of the physical Ronnie Lott-type DB phasing themselves out? You will always need a SS to stop the run and you had better be physical for that part, but what about the FS and CB's?

Getting to the point, are teams looking for that speedy guy who weighs about 202 lbs or that tough hitter packing 216 lbs? I've always loved the tough DB but I'm afraid being big and tough isn't going to cut it nowadays.
