So have the police released any theories as to why McKinley killed himself?

When I first heard the story on the news, it sounded like a homocide.

I haven't seen any, but I last checked yesterday.

That's crazy how snake-bitten Denver has been when it comes to player deaths. 3 in 3 years. As if it isn't sad enough, I can't imagine how I'd feel if that happened to my team.

thats good but what about the more important question I asked everyone which is-Is anybody else happy like i am that Jerry Jones and the cowboys are o and two? Happy Dance

I'm just hoping that the Browns can turn it around. They lost by less than 5 points in each of their first two games, and that was the result of careless turnovers. If we stop turning the ball over, we can win games. Our pass defense is surprising a lot of people, and I think we've proven that our D is not worst in the league by any means. Teams won't be able to score on us at will. They will *gasp* have to work for it.

The question for the Cleveland Browns is gonna be whether or not we can score points. This upcoming game against the Ravens will be our first big test, and I think it'll be closer than people think. We aren't gonna get blown out, but we aren't gonna win, either. We'll see growth, especially against their weakened secondary.

What do you guys think of the Browns so far?

Think the Ravens game showed that Boldin can score at will on you.

they will go nowhere as long as Eric Mangini is the head coach.Cant believe Holmgren was dense enough not to fire him in the off season and bring him back. This after all is the same head coach the Jets fired because of the fact he was not head coach material and could do nothing with The Jets.Holmgren will learn after this season that was a mistake and fire him after this year is my prediction especially since the losses keep mounting.I cant fault Holmgren I guess though for giving him a chance since they did come on strong towards the end of the year last year so I guess he had to give him a chance. He'll learn though that that was just a mirage though after this year.

I bet the Browns more than anything wish they had Marty The Moron Shittenhiemer back as their haed coach now.Sure his mind freezed up in the playoffs and he he could never get his teams to the superbowl which was the reason why the Browns fired him back then. But look at where the Browns have been and gone sense then.nowhere.Im sure the fans would take a coach that can get them to the playoffs every year anyday of the year over other coachs that cant even produce a winning season.

Blown coverage, yeah, I know. But they went nowhere on the ground, which is their main strength. We kept the gains to a minimum, and kept the game very close. We were in position to win, and actually probably could have won that game. But the call on 3rd and 2 was horrible. It was an obvious play call to make, too. Why on earth did we call a sideline long ball? Hillis was killing them all game, and Wallace was playing very well when he was able to scramble and find a receiver, so the call SHOULD have been a play action roll-out. That way Wallace could run out of bounds past the marker for the 1st or hit a receiver, and we could continue our drive. We actually proved that we're not as bad as our record shows. Mistakes are the only thing costing us, whether that be turnovers, lapses in momentum, or coaching mistakes.

YEAH! I hate the Cowboys. I hate the Ravens more, though, for obvious reasons. *coughmodellcough* They beat my favorite Texas team (in all of sports) the Texans to finally get a win, though. But they aren't going anywhere near the Super Bowl this year, thankfully.

good to hear.Looks like the Texans victory over the Colts was just a fluke and they are not as good a team as that victory indicated,Colts must have just taken them lightly and not been up for it,since the colts could not follow that up with a victory over the cowboys and laid an egg against them, same old Texans it looks like.for now anyways.

the problem with the texans is that they cannot stop teams from throwing the ball on them

While I might have been a bit over dramatic about the Colts in Week 1 but today showed they don't have it this year. Manning kept them in that game but their defense is brutal. Didn't make a single play when they needed it.

If it wasn't for a horrible mistake on the Jags secondary with the Wayne deep pass, it was over.

Well NFC West is officially the worst division in football history right now. It is a shame one of these teams will go to the playoffs.

The Cleveland Browns defeat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20. Good game by Peyton Hillis once again, and our defense got some stops when we needed them to. The only gripe is we let TO torch us all game.

Falcons had their 2nd Field Goal win in a row. Against the 49ers. Seriously though, these guys were 3-0 before the game, how did they keep the lead the whole game?

And host a game, too.

Mark it down:
January 8th, 2011. 4:30 PM. Atlanta Falcons AT Seattle Seahawks 1st round wild card playoffs. You can also quote me on the time and date, too. That matchup has early wild-card scrub game written all over it.

Ah yes. I can understand giving each division winner a playoff spot, but winning a division should not make you a top 4 seed automatically.

No, it should not either.

I never liked that rule but I do agree that the division winners should get in the playoffs.

I am fine with division winners getting top 4 seeds. I really can't see how you give a Wildcard better seeding then a division winner. Records are not always an indication of how good a team is anyway.

Winning a division does not make a team good either though. Winning more often in a good division but getting the WC proves more than beating up 3 terrible teams 6 times and winning a bad division.
