Your still the horse's mouth by analyzing what people say, and writing what they are thinking.

It's ok. I'm simply stating what I read and hear. I took it personally when you basically called me a liar.

He said it about 3-4 weeks ago. It was a quote on Sports Center. That he said "This is ridiculous. I'm part of the solution not the problem. If they want to do this, then whatever..." I'm paraphrasing but it was to that affect.

If he could get traded to Vikings and be with Childress he would do it. To me, that equals wanting to be off a team.

I'm not analyzing what people are saying. I'm simply reiterating what the reporters say. But most of them B.S. about everything. Like they did with Javy Lopez a week ago.

i didnt think Edge was actually that mad. but samasadin we do know that the Colts are not resigning him. They have already said they will foccus on signing freeny and Wayner, and unless those guys sign for way under their value theres no money for Edge.

Most seattle fans would rather have alexander over Steve Hutchinson. A lot of this is because they still have a good O-line without Hutchinson, although he does help alot Walter Jones is the most important part. Also Alexander puts fans in seats, O-line never gets the love.

As far as mcnabb goes i havnt heard anything about wanting a trade or being unhappy in philly. If he does thats odd, and too bad because it isnt gonna happen.

Well we truly don't know how mad he is. But from what he says he comes across as not exactly seeing the colts in a ray of sun shine.

Exactly...That's what it comes down to. Who puts fans in the seats, and who brings money to the team.

It was in a philly paper right after Childress was hired as the Vikings coach. Mcnabb said that he would love to play for Childress...I guess it was blown way out of proportion.

Just ask most Seattle fans who they'd prefer to have back...Pro Bowl guard Steve Hutchinson or Alexander...From what i've seen, the consensus seems to be Hutch...

Fact is, an average back behind a great line translates into better rushing production than a very talented back behind a poor line...I just hope my Buffalo Bills realize this at last this offseason...

You're wrong in every way......I dont even know anything about the NFL and I already know that you're wrong. Thats how wrong you are! cool

I agree, but teams still have to weigh the potential $6 million cap figure versus a younger back with a significantly lower base salary and incentive package.

Over their careers as a Steelers fan, I've had a lot of respect for Fred Taylor. He's almost hurled himself into the Mark Brunell/Bernie Kosar/James Brooks/Jimmy Smith/Ernest Givens/Steve McNair/ class of "Steeler Killers," as I like to call them. Taylor did go a couple of years recently without any significant injuries. Yes, I know his career's almost over, but I wanted to say he's done a better job than people have given him credit for.

Stop following me, MB stalker. stick out tongue

You guys do realize Freeney isn't a FA, right? I presume you're talking about the Colts extending his deal?

forumcrew, well, both Seattle fans i know over at the Bills boards consider Hutch top priority...I think you overrate their line outside of that amazing left side, Tobeck and Gray are both 35+, and Porkchop Womack is hardly elite...Regardless, Seattle have the cap room to retain both...I think Alex being back in Seattle is a lot more likely than Edge being back in Indy...Their DT Rocky Bernard, who i think had 8.5 sacks this year, is also a FA...Doesn't look like they'll be able to retain him as well...Could be a target for the Bills, least i hope so...

There's no way McNabb's leaving Philly...

Good question. I think Ravens are looking to deal him away from something, if the price is right.

It's assumed the Colts are not resigning James, but the Colts havnt actually said they are, so anything can happen.
James is an amazing player, but as Botunkus said, RB's are getting a dime a dozen, but if you look at the WR situtation, it's gets alot tougher to find a stud WR.
Also, the Colts have groomed Wayne for 3 years and they have the best QB in the league and Harrison is getting older now. So I cant see them not signing Wayne.

yea sorry to missinform anyone about freeny, my point about him and the cap is that he only has 1 year left on his deal, and they know next year hes gonna get paid big time, and they have to plan ahead with this year's signings accordingly.

I cant see Bmore dealing Ray Lewis. I live in Bmore and the fans would absolutely shit a brick he is the teams icon player and the most liked. A lot of the fans want a new coach and definanatly a new QB Kordel Stewart got so many cheers when he came into a game this year. And the fans also cheered when Boller was hurt early on.

Boller actually looked pretty decent late in the season when he came back in for Anthony Wright. I think he'll get another shot.

Ray Lewis as a force has been declining the past couple years, he is still solid, but not so much of a playmaker.

Boller is a bum...I'm sorry but he shouldn't have been picked in the first round.

He has had two good games in his career. The Giants 2 years ago, and the Packers this december. I'm sorry but the Packers played like crap against him.

All in my own opinion of course.

Well he hasnt really shown anything, but he has only played 3 years (if you count this year), and he didnt look horrible the 2nd year.
Does anybody remember Drews Brees.Everybody was calling for his head, and then he wins the job that year, plays amazing and takes them to the playoffs. Now, the Chargers look really bad on how they wasted a number 1 pick on a guy who hasnt even played yet.

Baltimore doesnt have a pick until the 13th, so I cant see them really upgrading the QB position by the draft. Cutler might go to them, but really, whats the point of replacing Boller with an rookie. They're really isnt any point to it.

His numbers for 04:
'04 BAL 55.6, 2559, 13, 11 Ints, 70.9
Thats not really bad, considering they're a running team.

I can see Daunte landing in Miami, Oakland, or Detroit.

I saw Boller against the Vikings, and he was very good in that one too, Macabre. Of course he has been a huge disappointment thus far, but unless there is an obvious upgrade out there, he is still young with some potential, so he will get another chance to prove himself.

What do you guys think my Bills should take at #8? Since Pat Williams left, we have had a big hole at DT, so Ngata would make a lot of sense. With Vincent and Milloy declining rapidly, and our switching to a Cover 2(big reliance on safety play), Huff is another option. Of course, if Ferguson or Mario Williams fell, we'd be all over it. Really, the only positions we are set at are RB, WR, LB, and CB if we slap the tag on Clements as it looks like we will, also we are not ready to give up on JP Losman as the future franchise QB just yet. Anywhere else is fair game...But LE, NT, and all across the offensive line are probably our biggest needs...

Are you serious? A second round pick? I mean I hate the guy but that's a pretty good deal.

Remeber everybody, Boller had nobody to throw too in his first 2 years.

The bills hmmm, Ferguson wont go that far, so Ngata looks like a good pick, but Huffs looks good too.

Hopefully, Dallas gets Holmes (WR), or Huff(if he falls).
