That IS taking it a bit too far. HOWEVER! While he may not defeat them in battle, he wont die, I guess Alucard is in for eternal pain.....Though, from what I have seen, he doesnt really feel much pain either....whatever....He cant overpower Supes or SS...But they cant neccasarily kill him either...at least not to my knowledge...
sigh, squall DID defeat edea. and also unltimecia, the sorceress of time. also, any1 who has seen the attack animations for shockwave pulsar{which squal and the team survived}, eden,s eternal breath, bahamut's mega flare, alexander's holy judgement etc etc will more than agree that alucard is NUTHING and shall be destroyed in a second against squall. with ff games, they have to balance out equaally, the human fight aspect and the celstial battle aspect for the same characters which ic why the confusion arises, it isnt PIS cause thats how square works. alucard is VASTLY overrated. he is also DEAD right now.
Listen, I just recently beat FF8 again like...two days ago. I love the game, it rules. But those things will not kill Alucard. Squall will do all that he can and Alucard will just keep getting up and release his control art restriction and eat Squall and the entire party. Its just the way it goes.
Also keep in mind that all the Squall feats you listed were NOT done alone. He always had a party with him to defeat the sorceresses.

it isnt universally agreed. unless u live in a universe of your own making. gameplay mechanics do play a big part in judging strength levels. time compression would have brought the entire universe to one unified point and phase. shockwave pulasar/griever/eden etc have planet/star system destroying potential with ease. alucard is dead as a doorknob. STOP hyping him. he is ALSO "DEAD" in the manga at this point. any major wmd can kill alucard even with all his souls at ease.
For one...SPOILER TAGS! Please! Also...the simple fact that you have dead in quotes proves that there is no guarantee of anyones death. Once again, Beating ANYBODY in FF8 with Squall and JUST Squall would be a ridiculous task. I mentioned above...Squall had a party when he did any of the above feats. Your hyping Squall, and as far as I can see, Alucard would easily take anything Squall would throw at him.
The only thing I can possibly see working on Alucard is Holy magic or Alexander. And I'm not even sure if that would work..

Pyron v Superboy Prime ( During Infinite Crisis, wearing the solar armour)
Pyron is strong, but SBP survived beign forced threw a re sun, which dims his powers, and he bet the golden age superman to death, not to mention kild conner kent ( god rest his kickass soul and killed around 36 green lanterns !!
While Pyron goes around eating planets, and apparently creating mini suns and stuff.
pyron is cool, but not sure if he can beat Prime !.
