well, i thought it did. it was actually very accurate, factually. the only thing they left out was the thebians and the guys who came and helped them. cant remember what they are called. and the mutants, dont forget the mutants.
Umm...also in the movie, the Spartans went to war because the Persians were going to enslave their people...when in fact, the Spartans had lots of slaves themselves...
just saw 300 yesterday. what a piece of floptastic garbage. really, its testosterone drenched junkfood for the brain. what a waste of a great story.
its wasnt great fiction OR history. it was just. plain. hollywood. gutter. trash.

failed in every concievable way, unless you just like seeing dc/marvel superheros hack away at countless cartoon villains in ways which make professional wrestling seem like a documentary on the art of war.
you can get up and walk out of the theater after the first half, and get your money back, because you essentially saw the whole movie.
not a drop of substance or emotion. maybe i would have gotten a kick out of it when i was 9 years old

I'll not only be the first to compare the two movies, but I'll put my paycheck on the line when I say that 300 was better than Wet Hot American Summer.
ooohhhh!!!!! the movie was fantastic..... the graphics were mind blowing, ever horizion, every scene was so beautifully picturized...... i luv d scene when Leonidas is climbing d mountgain to get to the priests or magicians or who ever they were..... fantastic. even d fight scenes shown in slo mo every drop of blood squrting out can be seen...
also some very hot half naked guys..... Eye Candy..... ; )
