The only episode I remember involved robots and superpowers.

I was unimpressed.

Well I am sure that the heaps of evidence will do credit to both sides' positions!

see, new blood is over-rated. I always hear "at least it's new blood, that'll do us good." But it won't. It'll just suck. again.

I hate essays.

But not as much as I hate myself.

Well tj, this way we get to have parallel ecologies; one (closed) group of posters will believe that Qui Gon is the God of the Force while another (closed) group of posters (us) will... not. The two sets need not intersect, ever.

And intermittently one of us will feel the need to write a 10 page rebuttal (10k characters, at least) and cull the herd. NBD

Neph, essays are fun!

All evidence is potentially subjective. NO ESCAPE FROM THE TRUTH.

Well, really, it doesn't do me any harm for a troll and a 12 year old to talk to each other here. Meanwhile Pwnd is enjoyably angry (and if that gets annoying he can be blocked or convinced to block the same people as me).

As long as there's nobody I like quoting the people who annoy me, the annoying presence is incapable of influencing my life.

So you're saying that the holocaust was subjective, hmmmm?!

Sure. There's tons of Middle Eastern countries where it never happened. Go read a Turkish history book.

I guess you're saying that just because someone has a different opinion (without any basis), it makes the topic subjective? So if some people thought Miley Cyrus was more talented than GnR, that would make it subjective? I always thought there had to be a legitimate reason, or even an actual reason to make something subjective, other than a baseless opinion.

Also, http://www.cracked.com/blog/the-4-e...r-relationship/

RH, feel free to block out all the heterosexual situations and add your own fantasies.

I think that Republican armband of yours is cutting off circulation to the point where you can't detect sarcasm and humor anymore. You may want to loosen it up.

huh

That made me intensely sad because someone reminded me today that the USA doesn't have the highest standard of living in the world; there is only a difference of degree between America and places where the Holocaust didn't happen. That is existentially terrifying.

It's likely because we don't have universal healthcare like every other post-industrialized nation, and even shitholes like Russia.

We also have less doctors per capita than the majority of first world countries.

Be careful, or those whiny, liberal "the View" talking points will take the conversation from "normal" to "boo hoo emotional raging" in a heartbeat.

After spending 3 weeks in the so called "highest standard of living" countries last year, there's definitely a discrepancy in the meaning of that term. Also, simply saying "itz likely cuz of not having universal healthcare", while humorous, is pretty naive.

That's pretty funny but no, I didn't actually complain about their living standards. I just said "highest standards of living" is definitely relative, at least from what I saw. Also, Russia is a shithole (was there too).
