I've somewhat changed my stance on Philosophy. At the same time, I have idea what the "philosophy" of economics is especially with the # of schools, I can just tell you the difference between each school and what they represent. I suppose in a way, that IS the "philosophy" of economics.
edit: Also, I may need to reevaluate my estimation of Paolini. It really looks like he might be going down the road of 'Eragon is a total psycho' afterall, which would be a very powerful and interesting premise.

Democracy is the very definition of awesome.
The thirties "were pretty much the end of the world," presumably because of the depression, right? Well consider that this graph is about recessions and it simply ignores the biggest one in American history. Then consider why DS might have posted it alongside his relevant, totally analytical caption.
You should come to the conclusion that Nem's spot on.
When people are trying to make a point, they often exclude information that would make that point look lolworthy. That big red dip on that graph wouldn't be the big red dip if the figures from the Depression were charted on there.
Sweet Jesus.
Once more, with feeling:
Refusing to acknowledge the implications of that descriptor on DS's post practically necessitates ignoring what Nemesis responded to, which of course is completely retarded.
So Nemesis asked for your opinion?
It doesn't take a whole lot of effort to "wade into" the social thread and correct you when Red it isn't here to do it himself, TJ, and I'm completely within my rights to do so. If you don't want to admit you're wrong then don't, but don't whine about interference.
