At my shul. And my arguments were solid.. Way too much time spent arguing on here and getting the "other side" which definitely did wonders for me. People were trying to tell me that they know for a fact God exists while I was trying to tell them "no you don't". That's the gist of it.
I've had those arguments. My targets eventually conceded that it was faith, not fact. But at the same time, faith=fact for them. Idiots.

They continuously argue that every major religion excepts the revelation at Sinai, that every Jew was present at Sinai, and to make up a story like that would be impossible if every original Jew told the exact same story and the exact same story passed through the ages. My response to that was "yea, it gives more credence to Judaism being correct or a truth but that doesn't ultimately prove anything." They even use the concept of preponderance of evidence and I keep trying to tell them that that concept doesn't constitute fact, especially since it's weaker than "beyond a reasonable doubt."
I always enjoy reading articles written by clueless morons. I wonder if anyone here has read "Vision of the Annointed". It's always cute to see a politician enact something, have it go wrong, and then claim it would have been a lot worse had his "provision" not been enacted.
Are you talking about Pentacost? I'm not sure what happened at Sinai. (Mount Sinia with the 10 commandments and Pentateuch perhaps?) My memory is shoddy. Theatre has corrupted my religious background.
