Pikachu jumped back amazed. The princess this entire time was shiek. Now he felt even worse about shocking her but, he smiled back at Shiek... err, Zelda now that explained how she knew magic but the various other acts, like her being a warrior of that much skill and transforming like that rose many more questions. Also the question of Pikachu finally eating as his stomach continued, he decided to sneak up behind kirby while the tomato was on the ground and began gnibbling away.

[ To those uncertain of my looks ]
"Then for now, I suggest that the Mushroom Kingdom it is. Who of you brave warriors will aid me in this quest?"
She had a look around at the proud pack of warriors that had gathered up from across the worlds. Venturing that distance and on such a quest was dangerous and she did not blame the warriors for not being willing to go. She had a look at each and every one of them, waiting for their replies.
Marth looked over towards Sheik, and was shocked to see that a strange mystic smoke covered his body and and enveloped him completely. For a second, Marth felt the urge to run over and help him, but was mystified and stood in awe of the sight. Then, a bright white flash erupted from inside of the cloud, and Marth had to raise his arms to shield his face. He heard a loud whistle from Sheik's direction, and turned back, blinking away the bright lights in his eye. Then he saw who Sheik really was.
"Uh...." Marth could only stare dumb-founded. So this guy who's bravery matched his, who had even saved him during the battle with speed greater than the Prince of Altea's....was a girl? A Princess at that!
Red-faced, Marth turned away from the conversation.
Marth still couldn't get over the fact that his fighting buddy was a beautiful woman. A woman capable of formidable power. The notion was almost frightening. Regardless, he held his stern gaze and listened intently to what her majesty had to say. After she was finished speaking, Marth looked towards the group of warriors as well. Their numbers were too small to contend with the forces of Bowser and his wire frame army. Or whoever was in command of the enemy. Something needed to be done.
"I'm sorry," he started, clearing his throat and stepping towards Link and Sheik.
"I can't join you in The Mushroom Kingdom." He said, his eyes locked with Link's.
"We can't win like this, and so I'm going to return to Altea. I will speak with a friend who's powers are comparable to my own. If he accepts my invitation, we shall return to aid you." Marth said, turning away from the group.
He started walking away from their little battallion and stopped. Without turning around, he addressed them.
"I suggest we get as much help as we can." He said quietly. Then he was off.
Link watched as Marth walked away. Link did in fact have help from the remaining Star Fox team; Falco, Slippy, and Krystal who gone off to find more help in the Lylat System from Bill, Katt, and the Cornerian army. Link knew of someone else that could help; Samus Aran and maybe she knew some Hunters who could help but time was against them.
"We must head to the Valley of Bowser now. Every second we waste that could be a second our enemy moves to strike against us," Link said.
Suddenly there was a large commotion going on down the dirt path that led away from where the small group of heroes were gathered. At first it was a low rumbling, but as the group looked, they could see a large gathering of dust being pulled up from the ground, and a steady yelling coming from behind it. It grew closer and the noise grew louder, the large dust cloud bowled on, without seemingly anyone behind it.
Finally it was in clear view of the gang, and all that could be seen was a small red baseball cap.
And the yelling of a little rotund boy.
"WE AREN'T GOING TO MAKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!" He was shouting, his arms out behind him, his head low. From behind him, to young children were running, each carrying a large wooden mallet.
"WE'RE HERE! DON'T START THE BIG BATTLE YET!" Ness yelled, skidding to an abrupt halt, spraying dirt and debris.
Link looked over at Ness and said, "we have a pretty good team here to pay King Koopa a littie visit. But just make sure; stay on your toes. Who knows what kind of traps is at the Valley of Bowser."
"You missed the fight little one...but many more will soon occur that we would need your assistance in," Link answered, "and we are going to the Valley of Bowser in hopes of finding Princess Peach to save Mario."
"Very well then! Those of us that are ready will venture into the mushroom Kingdom, we should get a move on. The others, I wish you the best of luck and I hope to see from you as soon as possible"
Zelda smiled at the newly arrived boy, but decided not to comment his arrival. She was fascinated in the boy, but he was a little young in her opinion. She smiled at him, even though she just felt like sending him away. It was a dangerous quest, even more dangerous for children.
