well he is said to possess only hi speed healing and not REGENERATION.in the movie when he was abt to be decapitated victor(sabretooth) saved him.well he cannot grow back his limbs or head.but he cannot be cut through his bone as it was fused to adamantium or whatever.he can heal of course any wound but cannot grow back the organ(if he does?? i guess it is wud be too supernatural)
It seems the only way to put wolvie down for good would be to incinerate/chemically dissolve his brain or seal his adamantium skull shut after destroying the rest of his body.
Um, that time with Horde the crystal powered him.. and if he could regrow from a single cell he would grow clones.. like Lobo. I seriously doubt he could regrow from a pinkie or something like that. Considering the xavier protocols the head and possibly the spine would be what he can`t regenerate.
Getting burned like in that scan is probably not enough since his HF can kick in and regrow tissue faster than it is being destroyed.
A molecular change in the adamantium? Does that mean there is tissue among the metal atoms? His HF is powerful enough to reshape it?
Yes, I know it amplified him. Still, I doubt his HF is dependent on the brain... seeing as he healed all kinds of injuries while having it pierced/smashed/incinerated/etc. You can damage the brain, but you can't turn off his HF...
He was beheaded more than once and regenerated... too bad it was off-panel... but Prisoner Number Zero was confirmed as canon in Wolverine Saga.

you know Logan can die by mental shut down or an over load in electrical pluses.Say Storm or someone fries him with an onsluaght of electricity,that could lead to his heart stopping thus no healing

That wasn't the nuke. That was Nitro whose powers were amplified by Mutant Growth Hormone.
The nervous system takes the longest to regenerate 'cause it's the most complex. Circulatory system starts up soon after that. But once the pipe is laid, the stuff that grows back in a regular person... stuff like muscle and skin and hair... that comes back nice 'n fast.
